CAE <-> IELTS

такой вот вопрос, в прошлом году я сдала CAE (Certificate of Advanced English), сдалава без каких-либо конкретных целей, просто было время, ну и решила, что сертификат не помешает!
теперь нашла Graduate School, в кот хотела бы подать доки, они требуют там TOEFL или IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
сдавать еще раз какой-либо из них не хочу, потому как времени нет и денег жалко...
на странице у ESOL нашла фразу:
те я бы сделала вывод, что мой CAE эквивалентен минимум 6,5 по IELTS?!
есть какая-то информация более менее официальная, на основании кот я бы могла попытаться сказать, мой сертификат эквивалентен такому-то уровню?!
инфу я брала с http://www.cambridgeesol.org/schools/index.htm
я знаю, что есть эта ассоциация ALTE, но я ничего так и не нашла у них на странице
и еще
те CAE и есть C1 (Oberstufe 1), это прямо на сетификате и стоит!

те CAE и есть C1 (Oberstufe 1), это прямо на сетификате и стоит!

Kак и в случае с постплением в немецкие уни сама школа или уни к которому она относится обычно определяeт как учитывать или не учитывать этот языковой экзамен. Большинство Graduate Schools требуют "English Proficiency", что вообще-то больше говорит в пользу CPE, но различные языковые школы пишут, следуя ЕSOL примерно следующее:
"What is the CAE?
The FCE is administered the University of Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
It is a lower advanced level test of your English ability. A pass is equivalent to IELTS: 6.5 - 7.5, TOEFL: 580 - 620 (paper test), TOEFL: 233 - 250 (computer test), or TOEIC: 800 - 900.
A pass will prove that you have a good command of English vocabulary and grammar. You can apply English confidently in education, social and professional settings. It will also show that you can use your English language skills in a range of culturally appropriate ways.
Why should I take the CAE?
1. Applying to many degree and diploma courses at established universities is possible.
2. Employers understand that you are able to apply English in most professional settings.
3. You will be ideally prepared to study for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)."

The MBA programme is taught entirely in English, and it is important that you can read, write, speak and understand English fluently. If you are a non-native English speaker you must provide us with evidence of your fluency in English. We prefer you to take IELTS (International English Language Testing System) as this tests all skills, but we will also accept TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) and CAE (Certificate in Advanced English). Please note that these tests are generally only valid for two years.
Our minimum entry requirements for these tests are:
* IELTS - 7.0 with no band below 6.0
* TOEFL (paper based) - 600 with 5.0 in the essay
* TOEFL (computer based) - 250 with 5.0 in the essay
* TOEFL (internet based) - 100 with 5.0 in the essay
* CPE - A or B
* CAE - A
You must arrange for us to receive an original of your IELTS / TOEFL / CPE certificate, not a copy. Our TOEFL code is 0908 02."
Так что зависит еще от оценки, которую Вы получили. Я бы предложил обратиться непосредственно в школу.

Так что зависит еще от оценки, которую Вы получили. Я бы предложил обратиться непосредственно в школу.
