-The Chancellor often speaks to the nation on TV - Häufigkeitsadverbien stehen vor dem Verb.
-Oh, you´re in Munich now? What are you doing there?
I have thought about it. I´m going to leave you for good. - Intention, Vorhaben
I´ve made up my mind. I´ve got the cinema tickets. I´ll take out Mary out. Vielleicht "I'll take Mary out tonight"?
-Your hand´s very interesting. I can see you´ll later have two husbands and three children. - Vorhersage

The sentence is incorrect. Предложение неверно, так как вместо was picking up (Past Progressive) нужно употребить picked up (Simple Past - eine einmalige Handlung in der Vergangenheit, nach when-clause)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided last year to leave England seeing that I ... (lost, have lost, had lost, could lose) my wife and my job.
Dad has been painting the celling. Only half finished, but it´s coming along.
The roof is just being repaired before the winter arrives.
