А наоборот не может быть?
The authors noted the limitation of having no data on the patients’
testosterone levels prior to contracting COVID-19, therefore the key
questions of whether pre-existing low testosterone exacerbated the
disease or if the low testosterone levels were instead caused by the
illness cannot be determined.
