COVID-19: новости, меры и просто поговорить

My suspicion that there was a directive from on high to keep vaccination rates as high as possible, was confirmed in 2014. I met up with an old friend, a nurse in high-level hospital management in New Jersey, who told me that hospitals are not reimbursed for the entire admission if a patient is not vaccinated with flu and pneumococcal vaccines, unless there is documentation reporting why they were not given.
Since then, I have seen two nurses on YouTube stating that their hospitals had the same policy. One of them recently said that Medicare and Medicaid orders dictate that, unless elderly ICU heart patients fit specific criteria for exemption, all must be discharged with five different classes of heart drugs including cholesterol and blood pressure medication, or the hospital would not be reimbursed for their stay either.
