Вам обязательно писать, что из за ошибки этот инструмент не работает? А второй вы хотите продать или просто предложить даром тем людям, кто купил у вас первый? И извиниться было бы неплохо. Ведь людям, купившим эту штуку не очень понравится, что вы пишите. Я бы написала так:
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
Unfortunately our measuring device Matrix MH 565 is irreparable. We formally apologise for caused inconvenience and offer the filler (Thermopaar Chromel) MK 202 measuring from -20 to 1200╟ (for sale/for free).
If anyone possesses the above mentioned measuring device and would like to have the filler, please, contact me.
